We are a group of photographers from various backgrounds, with dieffering levels of photographic experience, knowledge, ability and skill.
We meet weekly during the Club season (September – April) in order to share our enthusiasm and skill and to improve our photographic craft. Meetings may be presentations, workshops or competitions.
We have a reputation for being a very friendly Club and extend a warm welcome to all who are thinking of joining us. If you wish to find out more about the Club please Contact Us and we will return details about venue and times.
Our Camera Club is located near the town centre of East Kilbride, about 10 miles to the south east of Glasgow in central Scotland. We meet on Monday evenings during the Club Season, which runs from September until April.
Meetings take place in Calderglen Sports Club, Strathaven Road, G75 0QZ at 7.30pm on Monday evenings and last until around 9.45pm as a general rule although, depending on what is happening at a particular meeting, it may last a little longer than this. There is a tea break during the meeting when light refreshments are provided.
For this new Season, we have a number of presentations, competitions, member’s workshops, beginner’s night and social events planned – full details are in the Club Syllabus.
The Club is managed by a committee elected from and by the membership and is affiliated to the Glasgow and District Photographic Union (GDPU).
